Hi, I’m Mallory
and I’m on a mission to help you,
flow, move & live playfully, sustainably & happily,
on & off the mat.
I feel lucky that I’ve always enjoyed being active. Participating in sports my entire life it was a natural choice to receive my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota. Unsure where the degree would take me, I landed myself a fitness internship at a women’s only weight loss & lifestyle retreat in the mountains of Vermont. After two years, I developed the skills to support individuals WHEREVER they were on their wellness journey. From very fit to never stepping in a fitness class, to motivated and exciting to trauma and paralysing fear. It opened my eyes that while we can all be to achieve similar goals, we are all truly unique in our past experiences, current physical and mental state, and how that journey might look.
Ready for a new challenge, I accepted a role as the Fitness Director for a recreation center in southern Vermont. Using my previous skills and my passion to help others, I worked hard to create a variety of opportunities and programs tailored to all individuals. From program collaboration with local doctors called our Prescription for Exercise Program, to a group fitness studio offering near 40 classes per week for new exercises and seniors to triathletes and teens.
A bit of my story…
Taking a couple years to grow and develop my passion, including Wellness Coach training, my 200hr RYT certification & more, I ventured into some corporate wellness roles. I had the opportunity to help high stress individuals hit the pause button & destress with some yoga or movement. Following some travels, I landed myself back to take on the exciting challenge of developing a new Wellness & Lifestyle Department, to offer the community a variety of talks, classes, challenges, and programs all around lifestyle change. Eventually collaborating with a new local hospital Lifestyle Medicine Department, my work as a wellness coach helped supported a local Doctor of Lifestyle Medicine, to help encourage change for individuals with high risk disease in a way that encourages lifestyle improvements over prescriptions.
Now, currently residing in the beautiful country of New Zealand, I’ve discovered a beautiful blend of coaching clients, in studio yoga classes, & currently the bigger bucket list of running my own studio space to share my passion. With nearly 17 years yoga teaching experience & 12 years as a Wellness & Lifestyle Coach, I’m excited to share all of my learnings to help you feel your best. Creating programs, classes, and offering support to those ready to finally make a change…or to simply move & flow with me.
